We collect: account information (name, email — via Clerk authentication); content you create (job applications, CVs, notes, generated cover letters); usage data (feature interactions, timestamps); and payment reference data (order reference, plan type — no raw card data is stored by us).

Your data is used to: provide and improve the service; generate AI-powered insights (your CV and job description are sent to OpenAI's API for processing); process payments via WayForPay; and send service-related emails (e.g., post-interview reminders if enabled).

We use the following third-party processors: Clerk (authentication — clerk.com, US); OpenAI (AI processing — openai.com, US); WayForPay (payment processing — wayforpay.com, Ukraine); Vercel (hosting — vercel.com, US); PostHog (product analytics — posthog.com, EU); Resend (transactional email — resend.com, US). Each processor operates under its own privacy policy.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting prepstate.dev@gmail.com. Data may be retained for up to 30 days after deletion for backup purposes.

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion of your data; object to processing; and data portability. Submit requests to prepstate.dev@gmail.com.

We use session cookies necessary for authentication (Clerk) and analytics cookies (Vercel Analytics and PostHog). No advertising cookies are used.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
